Kazaz wire is obtained by wrapping a thin 999K silver wire on a silk thread. This wire is extremely soft and fluid ,so it is easy to use. Kazaz wire is more valuable than the others. Jewelry which made with Kazaz wire is called "Kazaziye", in Turkish. It is an important traditional Turkish handicraft. This kind of jewelry is designed with herringbone chains, knotted beads (Turk's Head Knot), Shemse Motifs (Love Knot) and tassels . No power tools are used in these productions. Kazaz wire is not as shiny as others. For that reason, the jewelry made with this wire has an ancient and vintage look. |
